For sale is an antique German map of the Pacific Ocean from 1850. The map is extremely detailed and a magnifying glass may be needed to read everything. The map shows, among other things, the ocean currents, the most important sea routes to Europe, the routes of more than 25 (!) explorers (including Cook of course), routes of 5 Prussian expeditions (trade) in the 1820s, the temperature and all island names. A very informative map that is colored by hand.

Condition: good (= minor signs of age and use - the paper is intact - in good general condition)
