Beautiful and detailed antique German map of Africa in 1879 (year is printed under the map) . On the one hand the map is very detailed, on the other hand the white spots on the map also clearly show that not the entire continent had been mapped yet. The map is a hand-colored copper engraving. Nice wide margins and very suitable for framing.

Condition: good (= some minor signs of age and use, but in good overall condition). Map has a centrefold, as issued.
