For sale is a large antique German map of the Balkans in November 1909 (this date can also be found at the bottom of the map in small letters). The map clearly shows that the Turkish Empire had fallen apart at the beginning of the 20th century. Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Montenegro and Bosnia have all (more or less) broken away from the Ottoman Empire and are therefore colored in with their own color. The map is very detailed, zoom the photos to see that well.
Dimensions: 44 x 56 cm
Condition: the map is in good condition (= small signs of age / use - there are some spots in the right margin - there are a number of cuts in the paper on the horizontal center fold, but these are almost invisible - in good general condition).
