For sale is an old map of France in the year 1872. This German map is very detailed; please zoom in on the photos to see this clearly. In the bottom left is an inset map of Paris and its surroundings, and in the top right an index of all 86 departments (the numbers also appear on the main map). Below the map is a beautiful panoramic view showing the most important mountain peaks in the Pyrenees and the Alps. The map is a hand-colored copper engraving.

Condition: the paper is entirely intact but largely browned with age spots. Issued with a center fold.
