For sale is an antique print of the Oudezijds Heerenlogement on Grimburgwal. The building was designed by the architect Philips Vingboons. This elegant inn was demolished at the end of the 19th century to make way for the Binnengasthuis (Inner Hospital). On the left is the "Huis aan de Drie Grachten" (House on the Three Canals) (Oudezijds Voorburgwal 249). In the center is a small gate belonging to the now-defunct Sint Pieters Gasthuis (St. Pieter's Hospital). This gate is likely a predecessor of the current Gasthuispoortje (Gasthuis Gate).
The engraving is beautifully sharp and very detailed, see the photos. Perfect for framing.

Condition: In good overall condition. Some discoloration at the edges. Number '16' in the upper right corner. The print has two vertical fold lines, as issued.
