For sale is a very large map of the German Empire from 1892. The map is printed on four sheets, which combined create a very large map. The map is colorful and detailed. Zoom in on the photos to see all the details. The map is a hand-colored copper engraving.The map of northwest Germany has an inset map of the Ruhr area. The map of southeast Germany has inset maps of Wilhelmshaven and Kiel, a large inset map of Berlin and its surroundings, and smaller inset maps of the Saarbrücken and Katowice regions. A nice detail is that all four sheets are dated 1891 or 1892 at the bottom (in small print). Each sheet has nice wide margins and is very suitable for framing.
Dimensions: Each sheet measures 38.5 x 47.5 cm. Combined, this is 77 x 95 cm.
Condition: good (some minor signs of age/use, but in good overall condition). Each page has a center fold (as issued). Printed on heavy paper.
