For sale is a beautiful, antique map of the continent of Oceania with Indonesia, Australia and New Zealand. The large empty areas clearly show that Australia was still largely undiscovered at that time (1851). Zoom in on the photos to see the details of the map. The map has small pieces of text here and there. For example, east of Hawaii, there is a group of islands with the words: 'groupe d'isles vues par un navigateur americain'. A very decorative map that is very suitable for framing.

Condition: The map is in good condition (= some minor signs of age and use, but in good overall condition). Map has a centre fold, as issued. Map in good condition. Incidentally, the map appears to be a bit more yellow in the photos than it actually is.
