For sale is a beautiful antique French map of the Aisne department from 1856. The map features a panorama of Soissons, the coat of arms of the capital Laon, and a portrait of La Fontaine, who was born in the department. The map is hand-colored. A very beautiful map with nice wide margins.
Dimensions: 23 x 27.5 cm
Condition: the map is in good condition (= some minor signs of age and use). Small fold in the left margin, otherwise the paper is intact.
Origin: La France et ses Colonies, published in Paris by Migeon (1856)
