For sale is a beautiful antique French map of the Marne department from 1856. The map features a panorama of the capital, Chalons, the capital's coat of arms, and a portrait of a famous Frenchman born in the department. The map is hand-colored. A very nice map with lovely wide margins.
Dimensions: 23 x 28 cm
Condition: the map is in good condition (= only some minor signs of age - paper is intact - in good overall condition)
Origin: La France et ses Colonies, published in Paris by Migeon (1856)
