Beautiful and detailed antique German map of Africa in 1875. In the bottom left, there is a detailed map of Algeria. In the bottom right corner, the highest mountain peaks of Africa are depicted. On the one hand, the map is very detailed, on the other hand, the white spots on the map also clearly show that not the entire continent had yet been mapped. The map is a hand-colored copper engraving. Printed on heavy paper with nice wide margins and very suitable for framing.
