For sale is an antique German map of Australia and Indonesia from the year 1849. Australia is still called Neu Holland on the map. With inset maps of the area around Sydney and around Perth. The map is a steel engraving that is colored by hand (although it is clearly visible that this was not done with the greatest precision). Nice wide margins, very suitable for framing.
Dimensions: 25.5 x 31 cm
Condition: the paper has quite a few brown age spots, especially in the margins around. Nevertheless a very charming map. Paper is completely intact.
