Beautiful antique map in two parts of South America in 1875 (the year is on both parts under the map part). This German map is very detailed, zoom the photos to see that well. It is a hand-colored copper engraving. Patagonia is still an independent area on this map, but it can be seen that Chile has already claimed a part . At the bottom inset maps of Rio de Janeiro and the bay of Rio. Decorative title and wide margins all around, very suitable for framing.
Dimensions: each card measures 37.5 x 46 cm, for a total of 75 x 46 cm
Condition: good. The sturdy paper is completely intact, but has a few brown age spots, especially in the margins. Both parts were issued with a centerfold.
